October is the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Let's make a difference in the lives of people who had been abused and neglected by participating in this fundraising event for Tokens of Care, a charitable nonprofit organization, that delivers hope by visiting and providing gifts to people at shelters and at temporary housing.

• 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner.
• On a typical day, domestic violence hotlines receive approximately 21,000 calls, approximately 15 calls every minute.
• Intimate partner violence accounts for 15% of all violent crime.
• 72% of all murder-suicides involved an intimate partner; 94% of the victims of these crimes are female.
75% of women who are killed in domestic violence homicides are murdered after they leave or in the process of leaving.

Please bring your gently used or new pair of sneakers for donation, and a Tax receipt will be given to you.
